fire-fight
A downloadable game
fire-fight is a simple top-down shooter that attempts to use flashlights/lighting as a part of the gameplay mechanic.
As a local (sofa + gamepads) multiplayer title, to make flashlights work, the player is only illuminated when the flashlight is on, or when the player is in a lit area. This means you can switch off your flashlight to make yourself harder for other players to see... but you are also harder for yourself to see (requires more effort/focus to move/aim).
Currently only gamepad support is included. The controls are as follows:
- Left-Stick - Walk/Strafe
- Right-Stick - Aim
- Y - Flashlight
- R1 - Shoot
- B - change weapon
I will continue updating this game as I have ideas for features. Check back here for update details, or check the devlog for geeky details about how some of it works.
